Students from McDaniel College had the chance to step outside of Budapest and explore another part of Hungary: Lake Balaton, significant for its sailing and fishing, old churches and villages, fruits and wines. They made several stops on their study trip.

Dockside in Balatonfüred, famous as a Balaton resort town since the 19th century.
Students in Tapolca, a picturesque town found between the Balaton and Bákony hills.
Students in front of the Festetics palace in Keszthely. The Festetics family exerted a strong influence on the history of the Balaton region.
