McDaniel College Budapest

Return to the Pilis Hills
Last November, McDaniel Budapest' s semester hike took students and faculty to the southern edge of the Pilis Hills. This semester, on a beautiful early Spring Saturday, the group went to the eastern edge of these magnificent hills, hiking from Leányfalu to the lookout at Vöröskő ("Red Rock"), to Hétvályús forrás ("Seven-troughs Spring") to fill up water bottles, and then to end of the trail at Tahi, roughly 14 kilometers. Here are some pictures to give an idea of the day and scenery, as well as a link to a larger gallery of images. (All images by Professor Gergő Viczian.)
