PSI 4492 Senior Seminar – Political Science
Instructor: Peter Schimert
Methods: Discussion.
Goals: Developing and writing a senior thesis.
Requirements: Attending the class meetings, turning in the brief written assignments participating in the discussions, completing the brief oral presentations, and writing a senior thesis.
Please Note:

Attendance in this class is mandatory.

Missing class will result in the reduction of your grade.

Turning assignments in late will also result in the reduction of your grade, one grade per day that the assignment is late.

All written assignments must be turned in on paper. Turning in assignments electronically is not acceptable.

Repeated absence from this class and missing consultations will result in failure.

If you plagiarize, you will fail.

Students are expected to come to consultations regularly. Those who do not will be penalized.

All written work must have footnotes and bibliography, which follows the proper form according to Turabian. I will not accept it otherwise.

Senior seminar paper 70%
