McDaniel College Budapest' s Opening Convocation
At 4:00, September 1, McDaniel College Budapest began the new academic year. The Opening Convocation included the presentation of the flags representing all of the countries from which MCB' s students hail, the playing of the Hungarian and American national anthems, words of welcome from Dean László Frenyó, an address to the College from McDaniel College' s president, Joan Coley, and a speech by Jeffrey D. Levine, Chargé d' Affaires of the US Embassy in Hungary.

After the convocation, students, faculty, guests, and alumni made their way to the Rákoczi to enjoy a cruise and dinner on the Danube.
