Farewell to art students
McDaniel Europe says farewell to art students

McDaniel College celebrated the culminating work and graduation of two of its art students, Mona Monsefi and Kelechi Ahunanya, at two events on December 15 and December 16.

December 15: On the evening of the 15th, at the Vizraktér Art Center located at the Kiraly Fürdö in Buda, Mona Monsefi, Kelechi Ahunanya, and fellow art student Nazanin Azizian unveiled their semester' s work, completed under the guidance of professor Csilla KÅ‘szeghy. It consisted of site-specific art, meant to convey both the Turkish origins of the Kiraly bath, and also the recent history of the Vizraktér Center, which moved from its previous premises in Pest. The exhibition opening included a fabulous performance of Balkan folk music, as well as a surprise—a fire-juggler.
