New students become familiar with the college and with the city
International and study abroad students spent time recovering from jet lag and becoming acquainted with not only the college, but also with Budapest. A bus tour and a class in "survival" Hungarian ended the week.
Lauren Wallace, a junior study abroad student from Bel Air, Maryland, said, "My first impression of Budapest was in a word, 'WOW.'" The city was definitely overwhelming, but I've already fallen in love with it in just the first week of living here.

And freshman Sebastian Pesthy, a native of Stuttgart, Germany, added "Joining McDaniel was as if I was joining a big family. I've been having an exciting, interesting, and great time!"
